Newer types of bird control spikes out there are made from a material called polycarbonate. These work better for very small areas that you may have. They aren’t recommended for wires and cables but you can use them for your ledges and even around the windows so that birds don’t sit on them. They can be held in place with a type of glue that won’t be damaging to the structure.
